Ella Faye Sinclair Smith
Ella Faye Sinclair Smith, 79, of Blytheville, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at Gosnell Therapy and Living Center. Born to Ellie and Daisy Newman Sinclair in Ripley, Tenn., she was a cook at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Blytheville for 23 years and a member of Gospel Lighthouse Church. On Nov. 14, 1958, she married the love of her life, Richard Smith. Ella was an amazing cook and loved to sew. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved taking care of her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her parents; infant son, Ricky Gene Smith; and three sisters, Annie B. Jones and Shirley Mae Taylor and infant sister, Barbara Ann Sinclair.
Ella is survived by her four children, Rita Jane Pratt and her husband Ron of Jonesboro, Relisa Faye Smith and her fiance Donnie Watson of Cooter, Roger Dale Smith of Conway and Rachel Rena Gall and her husband Dr. Tom of Blytheville; three brothers, Linwood Sinclair of Ripley, Tenn., Jr. Sinclair of Ripley, Tenn., and George Lewis Sinclair of Dyersburg, Tenn.; three sisters, Josephine Ables, Nancy Ruth Chipman and Dean Murley, all of Ripley, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Brandy Tinsley and her husband Paul, Donald Gray, Jr., and Ella and Thomas Gall, whom she cherished and helped raise; four great-grandchildren; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, June 21, in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J.C. Seward officiating. Burial will follow in Dogwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home.
