Manila traveled to Wilson Tuesday afternoon for a doubleheader matchup with the Rivercrest Lady Colts. The Lady Lions won the opener 8-4 before Rivercrest bounced back to take the nightcap 22-0.

Olivia May picked up the win in the first game, working five innings, allowing four runs, two earned, while scattering nine hits. Brailey Hampton and Ashlyn Jolly both hammered RBI triples to spark the Manila offense. Hampton scored twice while Jolly crossed the plate one time. Kara Watts contributed a two-run single, Kayla Parker belted a triple while Beth Rawson doubled and scored twice. Jessica Parrish had an RBI, Ali Smith scored a pair of runs while Sydney Adcock scored one run.

In the second game, the Lady Colts scored in every inning, including nine runs in the fifth in their shutout victory over Manila. Rivercrest clubbed 13 hits compared to just two for the Lady Lions. Watts and Parker had singles for Manila.

Manila played host to Hoxie Monday and fell 9-1 to the Lady Mustangs. May absorbed the loss, pitching seven innings, giving up nine runs, only one of which was earned. May allowed 10 hits, fanned five and walked one.

Hampton cracked a pair of doubles and scored a run, Parrish laced a double while Rawson delivered an RBI single. Adcock, Watts and Parker all had base hits.
