Blytheville police have arrested two suspects in the weekend shooting death of 20-year-old Malik Holliman on South 21st Street, Blytheville Assistant Police Chief Ricky Jefferson said Monday morning.
Rakeem Harris, 26, and Renaldre “Dre” Harris, 25, are both in custody and face first degree murder charges.
According to Blytheville Police Chief Ross Thompson, around 7 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to a neighborhood convenient store located in the 900 block of South 21st street in reference to a shooting.
"Officers arrived on scene and discovered 20 year old Malik Holliman of Blytheville had been shot and died as a result of his injuries," Thompson said. "The investigation has resulted in the issuance of warrants for Murder in the 1st degree for the arrest of 25 year old Renaldre “Dre” Harris and 26 year old Rakeem Harris both of Blytheville."
