Blytheville police are searching for 33-year-old Andra Crockett in connection with Tuesday night's shooting death of 37-year-old Priscilla Aldridge on West Ash. Kelvin Thomas, 37, who was also shot, is in stable condition. The incident apparently stemmed from an argument over a fast food order.
"The subsequent investigation into the shooting has led to the issuance of a warrant for Murder 1st for the arrest of Andra Crockett of Blytheville," Blytheville Police Chief Ross Thompson said in a press release. "Crockett is the brother of Thomas and the shooting was a result of an argument over a fast food order.
Crockett is a 33 year old black male listed at approximately 5’8” and 150 to 160 pounds. He has a scar on his face and abdomen with tattoos on his chest right and left arms. He is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone found harboring or assisting Crockett may be subject to criminal charges. Chief Thompson said around 11: 45 p.m. Tuesday, officers of the Blytheville Police Department responded to the 1900 block of West Ash Street in reference to the shooting.
"On arrival they found 37-year-old Kelvin Thomas and 37-year-old Priscilla Aldridge, both of Blytheville, and both had been shot while in a residence on Ash Street," he said. "Both were transported to the Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. Aldridge died as a result of her injuries while Thomas was transported to another facility for further treatment and is in stable condition. At this time the department is actively looking for persons of interest in the case, one of whom is possibly related to Thomas."
Aldridge is the seventh homicide victim of 2019 in Blytheville and the second in the month of March.
