LITTLE ROCK— The Gosnell Pirates were defeated 6-2 over the weekend by the Pulaski Academy Bruins.
The Bruins scored six runs on eight hits. PA led 4-0 after the second inning. The Pirates scored two runs in the top of the fourth and the Bruins scored the final two runs in the bottom of the sixth. The Pirates had two runs on six hits. Leading the offense for the Pirates were Jordan Lewis (2-4), Brayden Burcham (1-4), Devin Jones (run scored), CaDarius Young (1-2 with two RBI’s), Garrett Gentry ( 1-3), Coty Keene (1-1) and Amarion Partee (run scored). The Pirates committed four errors.
