Lisa Diane Rupp

Lisa Diane Rupp, 46, of Jonesboro, former longtime Manila resident, passed from this life Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born at Manila, she was the daughter of the late David Yancey, Sr. and Patricia Andrews Carter and had attended Manila Public Schools. She was a certified nurse's aide and a member of Milligan Ridge Baptist Church. Lisa enjoyed going to yard sales, but her greatest joy was spending time with children, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Amos Carter, Jr.

Survivors include her husband of 23 years, Larry Rupp of the home; one son, Shaquille Rupp of Jonesboro; one daughter, Brandi Estes and husband, Eric of Jonesboro; three brothers, Delbert Carter and Michael Carter both of Manila; David Yancey, Jr. of Jonesboro; two sisters, Sandra Stull of Manila and Donna Boatman of Caraway. She also leaves nine grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. Mike Colvin and Rev. Graig Stull officiating. Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Delbert Carter, Eric Estes, William Boatman, Michael Carter, David Yancey, Jr. and Clifford Decker.
