The Manila Lions and the Osceola Seminoles faced off in a game for the ages Friday night.

The Seminoles went home with the 3A-3 District Tournament title, after knocking off regular season conference champion and host Manila, 66-60, in double overtime.

The two teams were tied 42-42 at the end of regulation.

Osceola was ahead by two with 39.8 seconds left in the first overtime, but a few seconds later Manila’s Trenton Thomas hit a layup.

The Seminoles were called for a charge with 1.8 to play, setting up the need for a second overtime.

The 'Noles jumped out to a 15-13 lead in the first quarter but the Lions came back to lead 26-23 at the half.

OHS led 37-32 heading into the fourth quarter but the Lions outscored the 'Noles 10-5 in the fourth to force overtime.

OHS outscored the Lions 24-18 in both overtimes.

MJ Vance led the scoring for Osceola with 15 points. Dan Newsom chipped in 14 points and Zion Spears added 13.

Daley Belew scored a game-high 29 points for the Lions. Ty Wagner chipped in 15 and Trenton Thomas added 10 points.
