Buffalo Island Central picked up a pair of 2A-3 conference road wins, defeating Salem and Marmaduke on back to back nights.
The Mustangs raced past Salem 56-36 Thursday and followed with a 43-37 victory over Marmaduke Friday night.
BIC jumped to a 22-6 first period lead against Salem before taking a 31-19 halftime advantage. The Mustangs held a 48-29 cushion after three periods of play.
Devin Pemberton poured in 21 points to top the Mustangs while Kaleb Dublin knocked down four three pointers and finished with 14 points.
In the junior high contest, BIC slammed Salem 54-38. Nick Patterson sank four thee pointers and finished with a game high 14 points to lead the Mustangs. Dawson Stewart scored 13 while Caden Whitehead and Brayden Carmichael chipped in 12 points apiece.
BIC took a 14-2 advantage over Marmaduke after the first period and led 22-11 at the half. The Greyhounds fought back in the third quarter and closed to within 31-25. Blaine Wildy led the Mustangs with 16 points while Austin McCoy topped Marmaduke with 15. BIC won the junior high game 37-18.
