Marmaduke ran all over Buffalo Island Central 81-48 in senior girls 2A-3 conference play Thursday night at Marmaduke.

The Lady Greyhounds led 19-15 after the first quarter and took a slim 41-38 edge into the dressing room at halftime. Marmaduke exploded in the third period, outscoring BIC 27-5 to take a commanding 68-43 advantage into the final frame. Johna Rae Baine pumped in a game high 30 points, including seven three-point bombs to top the Lady Greyhounds. Karla Gilliam came off the bench and produced a double-double, scoring 26 points while snaring 10 boards. Freshman Heidi Robinson had 15 points while Reesa Hampton handed out 17 assists. The Lady Mustangs placed three players in double digits, led by Haddyn Hurst, who scored 15. Morgan James contributed 12 while Jealynn Cates posted 10. Laci Dewitt and Brianna Lambert netted three points apiece, Vicky Esparza and Rebecca Stefl chipped in two points each while Alexis Minchue added one point.

In the junior high game, Marmaduke defeated BIC 42-34. Makenzie Hampton and Tori Sutherland paced the Lady Greyhounds with 12 and 10 points respectively.

Lexi Riley scored a game high 13 points to lead the Lady Mustangs. Haley Milligan and Kaydence Lambert pitched in five points apiece, MasonHastings, Krystyn Hawkins and Hallee Wellls scored three points each while Emily Davis added two points.
