Madgie Parker

Madgie Parker passed away Jan. 1, 2019, at SMC Regional Medical Center at the age of 73. She was a retired factory worker and a member of Nodena Baptist Church. Ms. Parker was born May 21, 1945 in Keiser to James Claude and Jennie Gertrude Poss Byrd.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Uless Isbell, David Byrd and James Byrd; three sisters, Emma Austin, Shelba McDearmon and Claudean Helper.

She is survived by daughters Lisa (Rubin) Reese of Fisk, Mo., Jennifer (Timothy) Faries of Marion; her sister, Minnue Mae Vanzant of Senath, Mo.; five grandchildren, Beth Atkins of Osceola, Derek Reese of Fisk, Mo., Blake Bell of Keiser, Ryan Bell of West Memphis and Serina Bell of Keiser; six great-grandchildren, MiKayla Bell, McKinnley Bell, Brayden Scott, Anna Bell, Ryan Bell Jr. and Remmington Gonzales.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola with Bro. Jerry Reed officiating and burial at Garden Point Cemetery in Etowah. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge.
