Nick Lee Dailey, 63, of Norfork, formerly of Leachville, passed from this life Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018, at the Hospice House of the Ozarks in Mountain Home. Born in St. Joseph, Mich., he was the son of the late Ernest and Rosetta Henry Dailey and had been a longtime area resident before making his home in Norfork. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a retired maintenance engineer supervisor for Nibco Manufacturing in Blytheville. Nick enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing guitar and praising the Lord. He was also an accomplished handyman and could fix anything and had attended the Assembly of God Church in Leachville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Nickey Lee Dailey, Jr., two brothers, four sisters, one nephew, Rickey Cook, and one niece, Raelyn Lindenbach.

Survivors include his wife, Paula Beck Dailey of the home; his daughter, Candy Harris of Gosnell; a stepson, Mark Robertson of Tenn.; two brothers, Jimmy Dailey of Buena Park, Calif., and Oliver Cook of Jonesboro; one sister, Joan Carey of Wildomar, Calif.; five grandchildren, Ashley Thomas, Chasity Lambert, Allen Wayne Thomas, Jr., all of Osceola, Alysa McFadden of Wentzville, Mo., and Laranda McFadden of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and two great-grandchildren, Abigail Lambert and RJ Lambert, both of Osceola.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, in the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Howard Raney and Rev. Jeff Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in the Leachville Cemetery.

Serving as active pallbearers are Skip Layne, Chip Layne, Taylor Layne, Mike Cook, Bob Williamson and Steve Ellithorpe.

The family will receive visitors Tuesday morning from 10 until service time.
