MARKED TREE — The Gosnell Junior Pirates defeated the Armorel Junior Tigers 48-38 in the first round of the Gerald Jennings Invitational Monday night. The Junior Pirates will face the Trumann Junior Wildcats Thursday night in the second round of the Gerald Jennings Tournament.
SENATH-HORNERSVILLE, MO.— The Armorel Lady Tigers tried to avenge their early season loss to the Senath-Hornersville Lady Lions Monday night but they were defeated 47-33.
The Lady Tigers led 24-17 at the half but the Lady Lions got hot and outscored the Lady Tigers 30-9 in the second half.
Junior guard Briley Miller led the Lady Tigers with 10 points, four steals and one rebound. Senior Dani Wyatt added seven points, three steals and two assist.

MAMMOTH SPRINGS — The Armorel Tigers were defeated 72-33 in the 1A-3 Confrence matchup against the Mammoth Springs Bears Friday night.
The Bears led 45-13 at the half and 64-21 heading into the final quarter. However, the Tigers did outscore the Bears 12-8 down the stretch but were unable to overcome the 43-point deficit.
Senior Bo Hale led the Tigers with 14 points. Sophomore Michael Ring chipped in eight points.
The Mammoth Springs Junior Bears defeated the Armorel Junior Tigers 45-31 in their 1A-3 Conference matchup.
The Junior Bears led 23-8 at the half. The Junior Tigers outscored the Junior Bears 23-22 in the second half; however, the Junior Bears defeated the Junior Tigers 45-31.
The Junior Tigers were led by freshmen Cameron Martinez with 12 points. Classmate Jayce Fondren added nine points.
The Armorel Lady Tigers were defeated 50-32 in their 1A-3 Conference matchup against the host Mammoth Springs Lady Bears.
The Lady Tigers held a 22-21 lead at the half, but Lady Bears Stephanie Henry scored 10 of her game-high 26 points in the third quarter and the Lady Bears’ big third quarter helped them defeat the Lady Tigers.
AHS was led by sophomore Mayson Carr with 12 points, eight rebounds and an assist. Lady Tiger junior Briley Miller added 11 points and two rebounds.

The Lady Lions led 19-17 at the half and outscoring the Lady Tigers 11-4 in the third quarter helped the Lady Lions defeat the Lady Tigers 41-32.
The Lady Tigers were led by sophomore Mayson Carr with 15 points, six rebounds and two blocks. Junior Briley Miller added eight points, four rebounds, and two assists.
