Arthur William Norris

Arthur William Norris, 53, of Luxora passed away Friday, November 16, 2018 at St. Bernard Medical Center in Jonesboro. Arthur was born May 14, 1965 at Osceola to Eloise Rogers Norris and A.W. Norris, Sr.

Preceding Arthur in death were his father, AW Norris, Sr., his daughter, Nicole Norris, grandparents, A.W. Norris and Elnora Norris, Elder John Moore, and Linzell Miller.

Arthur is survived by his mother, Eloise Moore of Blytheville; his daughter, Jessica Norris of Buford, GA; son, Arthur “AJ” Norris III of Blytheville; grandson, Braylan Poole of Buford, GA; stepfather, Norvell Moore of Marietta, GA; brother, Christopher Moore of Portland, OR; grandmothers, Mrs. Linda Miller of Luxora; and Mrs. Hettie Moore of Blytheville; many aunts, uncles, cousin, his beloved 10 year old turtle “Tuck Norris, and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Promiseland Church of God in Christ, South 61 Highway, Osecola. Superintendent Johnny L. Moore will deliver the eulogy and burial will follow at Luxora City Cemetery in Luxora.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 23, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McDonald-Horne Funeral Home, 1207 S. Division St., Blytheville and on Saturday November 24, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
