Margaret Lott Christian

Margaret Lott Christian, 88, of Blytheville, passed away Friday, November 2, 2018 at her home.

Margaret was born in Manila to Clay and Dixie Smithson Lott. She was retired from Wal-Mart and was a member of Beacon Baptist Church for over 60 years. Margaret enjoyed being outdoors working in her flower garden and in her yard. She loved to travel and play cards. She had a big heart and was always helping her neighbors. Margaret was a devoted mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Christian; her parents; and two sisters, Gladys Montgomery and Glendel “Bugs” Davis.

Margaret leaves three children, Roy Thomas and his wife Mary of Mountain Home, Robert Thomas of Blytheville and Rhonda Ethington and her husband Bob of Winchester, Virginia; one brother, William “Sonny” Davidson and his wife LaVera of Jackson, Mississippi; three granddaughters, Christie Pannell and her husband David of New Albany, Mississippi, Tifani Ethington of Winchester, Virginia and Amanda Schmidt and her husband Jesse of Indianapolis, Indiana; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 7th at 11:00 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery with Billy Holifield officiating. There will be no visitation. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cobbfuneralhome.com.
