JoAnn Tate Mullins
JoAnn Tate Mullins, 81, of Blytheville, went to meet her Heavenly Father November 4, 2018.
JoAnn was born in Blytheville to the late Floyd Milton Tate and Frances Allie Winburn Tate. She graduated from Dell High School where she played basketball. She married M.J. Mullins on November 17, 1956. They farmed together for 43 years on the family farm in Blytheville. During their 61 years of marriage, JoAnn enjoyed gardening, raising her four children and being with family. She was a member of First Baptist Church, and later a member of Armorel Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers.
JoAnn leaves her husband, M.J. Mullins of the home; two sons, Dana Mullins and his wife Claudia of Ethelsville, Alabama and Mike Mullins and his wife Joyce of Sherwood, Arkansas; two daughters, Tracy Plunkett and her husband Jackie of Blytheville and Leslie Mason and her husband Tommy also of Blytheville; one sister, Sally Newcomb of Blytheville; four grandsons, Matthew Mullins, Jordan Mullins, Jeremy Mullins and Joshua Plunkett; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private, with her nephew Rev. Lance Mullins officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, November 8th from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Cobb Funeral Home.
