A truck crashed into the Air Evac building around 5:30 p.m. Thursday, with the driver sustaining injuries and paramedics temporarily stuck inside the building, according to Blytheville Police Chief Ross Thompson.

Thompson said the truck was traveling at a high rate of speed on Highland and the driver lost control.

"It almost knocked the building off the foundation," Thompson said. "The driver sustained injuries and was taken into the ER for treatment by the paramedics on scene who were momentarily trapped inside their building."
