Rebecca Ladrina "Dena" Ward

Rebecca Ladrina "Dena" Ward, 76, of Manila, passed from this life Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018, at her home. Born in Manila, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Allen and Beatrice Hall Hill, a 1961 graduate of Manila High School and a lifelong area resident. She was a retired hairdresser and factory worker and a member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Manila.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold Wayne Hill and Ira Arthur "Sonny" Hill; and a great-grandson, Landon Tyler Ward.

Survivors include three sons, Christopher Allen Ward (Rita) of Nacogdoches, Texas, Robbie Lynn Ward (Leslie) and Kevin Wade Ward, all of Manila; six grandsons, James Dale Brooks, Colton Christopher Ward, Joseph Kyle Ward, Jeremy Allen Ward, Corey Burrow and Cameron Wilson. She also leaves two great-grandchildren, Kylie Ward and Titan Ward.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, in the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. Rudy Burrow and Rev. Troy Burrow officiating. Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery. 

Serving as pallbearers are Gary Hill, Michael Hill, William Hill, Jackie Hill, Scott Hill, Alan Vassar, Brian Lee and Linda Brooks. 

The family will receive visitors Monday from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
