Bertha Ann Coleman
Bertha Ann Coleman of Osceola was born September 3, 1946 in Armorel to the late Emmitt Coleman, Sr. and the late Mary Nickerson Coleman. She was a Wal-Mart cashier, a missionary for C.O.G.I.C. and attended Promiseland C.O.G.I.C. in Osceola and Miracle Temple in Luxora.
Ms. Coleman passed away on August 1, 2018 at Medical City Hospital in Plano, Texas at the age of 71.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Emmitt Coleman, Jr. and Jerry Coleman, Jr. and one great-grandchild Christian Lamar Henderson.
She is survived by her son Benny Lee (Annjeanetta) Coleman, Jr. of Forney, Texas, three daughters Denise Coleman of Osceola, Teresa Ann Coleman and Elana Foley (Marcus) both of Conway, five brothers Ernest Coleman of Colorado Springs, Larry Coleman, Earl Coleman, Sr., David Coleman and Walter Coleman all of Birmingham, seven sisters Laura Clark of Washington, D.C., Bernice Thomas of St. Louis, Dorothy Jones of Birmingham, Delois Giles of Grayson, Georgia, Nancy Whitaker of Clarksville, Tennessee, Irene Coleman and Angela Gulley both of Birmingham, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be held Saturday August 11, 2018 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Promiseland C.O.G.I.C. in Osceola, with the funeral immediately following. Pastor Billy Davis will be officiating. The burial will be held at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola. Services provided by Wilson Funeral Home Osceola.
