Fred Junior Smith

Fred Junior Smith, 90, of Monette died July 15, 2018 at Monette Manor in Monette. He was born May 8, 1928 in Mississippi County to Fred and Lily Brannon Smith. Mr. Smith was a construction worker, a US Navy veteran and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Smith is survived by his wife Villine Smith of Texarkana, Texas, two sons Richard (Mary) Smith of Lost Cane, Arkansas and Jerry (Tommye) Smith of Texarkana, Texas, one daughter Teisa (Samuel) Daniel of Manila, nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Visitation wil be Tuesday, July 17, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral is Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, with burial at Garden Point Cemetery in Etowah. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge.
