Wilma Jean “Jeanie” Canamore
Wilma Jean “Jeanie” Canamore, 83, of Blytheville, passed away Friday, May 25, 2018, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Jeanie was born in Ripley, Tenn., to Ray and Margie Wilson Ashmore. She was retired from Randall Company as well as the Blytheville School District where she was a bus driver. Jeanie loved music, playing piano and gardening. Jeanie was kind hearted and was a loving mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James “Jackie” Canamore; her parents; daughter, Patricia Lampley; grandson, Chris Sullivan; sister, Mona Ray Ashmore; and brother, Robbie Ashmore.
Jeanie leaves her three children, Michael Parish (Karen) of Blytheville, David Parish (Vicki) of Jonesboro, and Polla Parish of Manila; two sisters, Susie Ashmore and Ann Beard, both of Blytheville; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Billy Holifield officiating. Burial followed in Elmwood Cemetery. The family received friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home.
