The following are reports from the Blytheville Police Department.
— Police arrested Brandon Clark, 37, on charges of failure to appear and resisting arrest in the 400 block of South First Street.
— Officers took a theft report (phone, computer tablet) in the 1000 block of South Division.
— Police took a theft report (medicine) in the 1100 block of Willow.
— Police arrested Joel Williams, 22, on charges of careless driving, fleeing, possession of a firearm by certain persons and tampering with evidence, following a traffic stop on South Ruddle.
— Officers arrested Kami Vandyke, 39, on charges of criminal trespassing and failure to appear in the 1100 block of Willow.
— Police arrested James Bailey, 41, on charges of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) during a traffic stop in the 2500 block of South Division.
— Police took a report of a shooting in the 100 block of Coleridge. The victim said someone shot through her children’s bedroom window.
— Officers took a theft report (20 ton commercial unit) in the 400 block of South Second.
— Police took a criminal trespassing report in the 500 block of Hardin.
— Officers arrested Alex Turner, 22, on possession of a controlled substance (meth and pills) in the 800 block of South Division.
— Police investigated a domestic assault in the 800 block of South Ruddle. The offender allegedly punched his girlfriend several times while she was in a vehicle. “She reversed the vehicle and (the boyfriend) grabbed her shirt causing her shirt to rip. (The victim) stated she drove away and (the offender) left the area,” the report said. “I saw a red mark on her chest and the back of her neck. I did not see any other injuries.”
— Officers took a shoplifting report at Hibbett Sports on East Main.
— Police investigated a battery report in the 300 block of North 9th.
— Police arrested Marco Brown, 39, on charges of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) and tampering with evidence during a traffic stop in the 1300 block of West Ash.
— Police investigated a domestic battery report in the 1100 block of Chickasawba.
— Police took a report of an altered VIN on an ATV in the 400 block of East Missouri.
— Police investigated a domestic battery report in the 300 block of Lakewood.
— Police took a criminal trespassing report at Days Inn on South Porter Road.
— Police took a breaking or entering report in the 400 block of South 21st. A refrigerator was stolen.
— Police arrested Yarkesha Riley on domestic battery and criminal mischief charges in the 1100 block of South Ruddle. “While approaching the residence I noticed the back windshield of a red Dodge Charger in the driveway busted out and glass was all around the car,” the report said. “I also observed the front storm door glass of the residence had been busted. I made contact with Kendra Little, who stated that Yarkesha Riley had come to her house and busted her window of the car with a hammer and fought her because of her husband, Dontrail Armstrong was at the residence. Little further explained that the door had been broken when Riley had attacked her.” Multiple small lacerations were found on Little's hands and arms, which she says were caused by Riley. “Armstrong confirmed Little's story, and stated that he had been injured trying to get between Little and Riley,” the report said. “I observed a small laceration to the left side of Armstrong's mouth. While talking with Little and Armstrong, Riley entered the residence. I took Riley outside and placed her in custody. Riley stated that she was eight months pregnant. I then placed Riley in the back seat of my fully marked patrol unit. I noticed multiple small lacerations on Riley's hands, which she stated was from busting the windshield with the hammer. I cited Riley for Domestic Battery 3rd and Criminal Mischief 1st. As I explained to Riley her charges and that she would be transported to MCSO for her court date on 05-29-2018, Riley started complaining that her stomach hurt and that she thought she was having contractions. I asked if she needed medical attention to which she stated she did. I contacted dispatch and had them send Pafford to my location. Pafford arrived and transported Riley to Great River Medical Center for further evaluation.”
— Police arrested David Richie, 33, on charges of careless driving, driving while license suspended and fleeing in the 1700 block of Basin.
— Police arrested Joseph Chandler, 36, on criminal mischief charges at America’s Best Value Inn on South Porter. Chandler allegedly broke a table and lamps.
— Police arrested Devonnia Henderson, 42, on criminal trespassing at Holiday Inn on East Main.
