Blytheville police are searching for a man accused of making threats against police officers, following Operation Street Sweeper earlier this month.
According to Criminal Investigations Division Commander Lt. John Frazier, a warrant has been issued for Tyrone M. Dority, 23, of Blytheville for making a terrorist threat.
“On January 13th, 2018, a multi-agency search warrant operation was conducted in the city of Blytheville that resulted in the arrest of 10 individuals and the seizure of several firearms and narcotics,” Frazier said in a press release. “On January 14th, 2018, officers with the Blytheville Police Department were made aware of threats being made on Facebook and Blytheville Topix using the name of "Boosie B Dority", threatening and/or encouraging individuals to seek out and kill local police officers. These threats included names and the whereabouts of certain officers’ residences."
