Juanita Aldridge
Mrs. Juanita Aldridge was born May 2, 1933 to the late Emanuel Dexter and Martha
Mattie Dukes-Dexter in Pine Bluff. She departed this life on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Pines Rehab and HCC in Lansing, Michigan at the age of 84.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emanuel Dexter and Martha Mattie Dukes-Dexter; a brother, Tom Dexter and a daughter, Ruthie Mae Thomas Blair.
She-confessed a life in Christ at an early age. She worked for Southwestern Bell for over forty plus years. She was a faithful member of Solid Rock Baptist Church, 2410 South Pennsylvania Ave., Lansing, Michigan under the leadership of Pastor James E. Carter. One of Madear's favorite passages in the Bible was Psalms 23.
She leaves to mourn her passing her estranged husband, Clarence Aldridge of Lansing, Michigan; her daughter, Bessie Thomas of Blytheville; two granddaughters, Carolyn (Stanley) Faulkner and Joyce Harvey of Blytheville, Arkansas; four grandsons, Edgar Harvey, Willie Wright (Pauline) and Earnest (Delana) Blair, all of Blytheville and Tony (Frances) Shannon of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She leaves nineteen great grandchildren; eleven great-great-grandchildren; a niece; two nephews; and other relatives, family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 11:55 a.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at God’s Holy Temple Church. Services will follow at noon. Burial will follow at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette.
