Roy Lee Thomas, Sr.

Mr. Roy Lee Thomas, Sr., 84, of Osceola passed away November 10, 2017 at his home. He was born April 29, 1933 to Howard and Idell Mixon Thomas in Osceola. He was a retired factory worker and a member of Tabernacle M. B. Church in Osceola.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ball Thomas of Osceola; two sons, Roy Thomas Jr. of Decatur, Ala. and Terry McWright of Atlanta, Ga.; four daughters, Diane Darby, Alma Sanders and Delphine Miree, all of Saginaw, Mich. and Terria Barnes of Madison, Miss.; one brother, Howard Thomas, Jr. of Saginaw, Mich.; one sister, Bonnie Nickerson of Osceola; one special granddaughter, Tailen Cole of Madison, Miss. and a host of other grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother and four sisters.

Visitation will be held from noon until 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Tabernacle M.B. Church in Osceola. Funeral will follow at 2 p.m. at Tabernacle M.B. Church in Osceola with Rev M.L. Smith officiating. Burial will be at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola.
