Wallace Owen
Mr. Wallace Owen, 63, of Blytheville, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.
Wallace was born in Dexter, Missouri to Elmer Lavelle and Florine (Davis) Owen. He worked as a manager of water and wastewater treatment and was a member of Cole Ridge Baptist Church. Wallace served his country honorably in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He never missed any of his children’s activities when they were growing up. Wallace enjoyed working outside and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father; and a brother, Gerald Owen.
Wallace leaves three daughters, Brooke Duclos and her husband Travis of Gosnell, Kelli Jones and her husband Brad of Half Moon and Jessie Crank and her husband Joe of Malden, Missouri; his mother, Florine Owen Wood; one brother, Ronnie Owen of Paragould; three sisters, Brenda (James) Alsup of Memphis, Tennessee, Linda Owen of Dell and Tresa (Terry) Chapman of Blytheville; and eight grandchildren, Dylan Hicks, Landon Hicks, Abby Jones, Hadley Duclos, Hutch Duclos, Johnna Berryhill, Cameryn Berryhill and Jessalyn Crank.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, October 31 in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sunny Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
