Anthony Lackey

Anthony Lackey, 65, of Manila passed away May 31, 2017, at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born Dec. 8, 1951 in Steele, Mo., to the late Ella Mae Graves Lackey. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching Andy Griffin and the Rifleman, and traveling.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Lackey of the home; two daughters, Carla Lackey of Cherry Valley and Paige Lackey-Taylor of Osceola; two brothers, Eugene and Billy Lackey, both of Osceola; two sisters, Bertha Jackson of Osceola and Pat Armour of Battle Creek, Mich.; three stepdaughters, Shawnda Phillips-Slankerd and Deborah Phillips, both of Manila, and Rhonda Phillips of Senatobia, Miss.; three grandchildren, Brookland, Addsyn and Liam Slankerd; and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ella Mae Lackey, and one stepson, Bobby Phillips.
