Lowe’s assists Gosnell Fire Department with renovations

The Gosnell Fire Department has undergone a remodel with the help of a local business.

Lowe’s donated paint, a dishwasher, stove, refrigerator and the labor to provide GFD a place to operate out of during severe weather.

“A big thank you to Lowe’s,” Gosnell Fire Department Capt. Darryl Grissom said. “We’re extremely grateful for what they’ve done for us. This is going to benefit the guys for storms and bad weather.”

Grissom noted Chief Darrel Watkins and his son Chris Watkins “were very instrumental in getting it done” as well.
