Billy Wayne Benham

Billy Wayne Benham, 73, of Manila, passed away Monday, May 1, 2017, at UAMS Hospital in Little Rock. He was born Dec. 3, 1943, in Lake City to the late Joe and Thelmalene Benham. Billy was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a United States Army veteran who proudly served his country and a truck driver for many years.

Survivors include one son, Scott Randall Benham of Manila; four daughters, Shannon Atkinson and husband Chuck of Leachville, Beverly Roundtree and husband Mike, Jolene Watkins and Jessica Benham, all of Manila; one sister, Mary Lou Vaughn of Ward; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Peggy Benham; and two brothers, Mackey Joe and Paul Benham.

Memorial services will be from noon until 3 p.m. May 20 at 2290 North State Highway 77 Manila. Faith Funeral Service of Manila is in charge of arrangements.
