Cletis Pearl Eddings
Mr. Cletis Pearl Eddings, 69, of Manila, passed away April 27, 2017, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born July 28, 1947, in Manila, he was the son of the late Homer and Rosalee Murphy Eddings and had been a longtime area resident. Mr. Eddings enjoyed was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, yardwork, walking and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by a stepdaughter, Karen Henry of Manila; two brothers, Curtis Eddings of Manila and Burl Eddings of Cherokee Village; three sisters, Norma Jackson of Russellville, Eula McQueen of Houston, Texas, and Gloria Eddings of Jacksonville. Mr. Eddings also leaves two grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Eddings; a son, Marty Eddings; one infant brother, and three sisters, Betty McQueen, Hattie Mae Eddings and an infant sister.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. May 2 at the Faith Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Bro. Robert White officiating. Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery with Faith Funeral Service of Manila in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from noon until time of service May 2 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Justin Daniels, Bill Stone, Henry Ford, Joe McQueen, Kenneth Vancely and Brian Vancely.
