The Arkansas Department of Labor has confirmed that the Blytheville Police Department reached compliance in vacating part of its current facility, according to Assistant Police Chief Ricky Jefferson.

On Friday, Jefferson told the Courier News that an ADOL representive visited the police department and was satisfied with what he saw. The ADOL report has not been released, yet, however. Last Friday, the Arkansas Department of Labor told the city that the BPD had 48 hours to vacate the dispatch/patrol area of the building and six months to leave the facility.
