Johnny Lee Yankaway

Mr. Johnny Lee Yankaway known as “Hooker Ray” of Gosnell, was born on February 17, 1948, to Sam Yankaway and Lerotha Jennings.

Johnny, departed this life on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, at the age of 69. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He leaves to cherish his memories three daughters, Susie O’Neal of Gosnell, Shalonda Yankaway of Milwaukee, Wis. and Bianca Bell of Truman; one son, Johnny Bell, of Truman; one sister, Berthilla Pearson of Osceola; two brothers, Sammy Yankaway, Sr. of Wilson and J.T. Yankaway of Blytheville; one stepdaughter, Jacqueline Taylor and one stepson, Anthony Taylor both of Milwaukee, Wis.; a special friend, Annie Sargent, of Gosnell; 13 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday April 07, 2017 at Bridging the Gap Church, from 5:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m... Services will be held on Saturday April 08,, 2017 at 12:00 noon at Bridging the Gap Church. Burial will follow at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola, AR.
