Jack Wells, II
Mr. Jack Wells, II received his Wings of Freedom from this life on March 27, 2017. He died at home in Blytheville at the age of 53, surrounded by family and friends. He had battled esophageal cancer for nine months.
Lil' Jack was a simple man with a loving heart. Always happy, he could light up the room with his smile, a funny story, a magic trick or an act of kindness.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Madge and Jack Wells.
He is survived by one son, Austin Pankey of Blytheville; two sisters, Jamie Olson of San Antonio, Texas and Betty Naylor of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; an aunt and uncle both of Blytheville; a special friend Julie Griffis of Blytheville and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
A Casual Memorial for Jack will be held at Nelson Park, (corner of Chickasawba and Division) at 6 p.m. on Friday March 31.
