BROOKLAND— The Armorel Tigers dropped an 11-0 decision to the 4A-3 Brookland Bearcats on Friday.
Brookland jumped out early on the defending 1A state champions Tigers, 6-0, then tacked on four more runs in the bottom of the second. The Bearcats added another run in the bottom of the third. The Tigers offense was led by Jared Wyatt (2-2) and Logan Blankenship (1-2). The Tigers were scheduled to play at Paragould on Monday night but due to inclement weather the game was cancelled. The Tigers were also scheduled to play 1A-2A blended conference opponent EPC on Tuesday, but that game was rained out as well. That game was rescheduled for next Tuesday.
