Linda Faye Carthon

Mrs. Linda Faye Carthon, 60, of Osceola, passed away on March 4, 2017 in Jonesboro. She was a teacher at EOC Headstart and a member of the Naked Truth Training and Empowerment Center in Gosnell.

She is survived by her parents, Walter Johnson, Sr. and Evelyn Williams Johnson both of Osceola, AR;

Husband, Clarence Carthon of Osceola;

Two sons, Shamir Wallace of Jonesboro and Bobby Carthon of Osceola;

Two daughters, Charlotte Wallace of Osceola and Crystal Thompson of Columbus, Ga.;

Three brothers, Walter Johnson, Jr., Bruce Johnson, Sr. and Phillip Johnson, Sr., all of Osceola;

Three sisters, Carolyn Chambers of Oceanside, Calif., Terri Clark of Gosnell and Sharon Nelson of Jonesboro;

Twelve grandchildren; and

One great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2017 with the funeral immediately following, with Pastor Christine Bennett officiating. Burial will be held at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola.
