Lourisa Denise Jefferson
Ms. Lourisa Denise Jefferson, 42 of Blytheville transitioned into the presence of the Lord on Friday, March 3, 2017 surrounded by those she loved and those who loved her at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born February 6, 1975 in Osceola, Lourisa was the daughter of Ernest Jefferson and Doris Benson. She was a loving and kind young lady with a beautiful and welcoming smile. She served faithfully in many capacities at First Missionary Baptist Church where she was Corresponding Secretary, Youth Counselor, Sunday School Teacher and in the Education Ministry.
Lourisa was preceded in death by her grandparents, and her mother, Doris White.
She leaves to forever cherish her memory three daughters, Day'Dreana Fowler, Shi'Anne Beal, and Rai'Annon Beal all of the home;
Her father, Ernest (Ernestine) Jefferson of Blytheville;
Four sisters, Marcia Thomas of Blytheville, Toni Jefferson and Nikki Jefferson both of Lansing, Mich. and Erica (Keith) Clowers of Caruthersville, Mo.;
Three brothers, Jeffrey Benson of San Antonio, Texas, Ernest (Angela) Jefferson II of Jonesboro and Octavius Jefferson of Blytheville;
Two Godchildren, Amari Marshall of Nashville, Tenn. and Jamari Lee of Blytheville;
Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at First Missionary Baptist Church, 600 East McHaney Street in Blytheville with Reverend O'Dale Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Garden Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday at First Missionary Baptist Church, 600 East McHaney Street, Blytheville.
