Dennis L. Stone, Sr.

Dennis Lee Stone, Sr., 47, of Blytheville died on Saturday 14, 2017. Born April 3, 1969 in Osceola, he was the son of Johnson and Birdie Bell Stone. Dennis was a truck driver for Nucor Yamato Steel Company.

Dennis is survived by his wife Patrise Strickland Stone of the home;

Two sons, Dedrick Knowles of Blytheville and Dennis Stone, Jr. of Jonesboro;

One daughter, Whitney Stone of Jonesboro;

His parents, Bishop Johnson and Birdie Stone of Blytheville;

Three brothers, Elder Calvin (Clara) Stone of Luxora, Timothy (Georgia) Stone, and Lavester (Phonecia) Stone all of Blytheville;

Three sisters, Vivian Stone and Olivia (Edward) Blankenship of Blytheville and Dorothy Stone (Mark Mathis) of Desoto, Texas;

Three grandchildren and many nieces, nephew, cousins and other family members.

Funeral services for Dennis will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 1 p.m. at the First Missionary Baptist Church, 600 East McHaney Street, in Blytheville. Elder Calvin Stone will officiate with burial following in the Elmwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 20, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 7 p.m.at First Missionary Baptist Church.
