Troy Yancey

Troy Yancey, 73, of Manila, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016, at his home. Born Aug. 19, 1943, in Wilson, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Roy Yancey and was a longtime area resident. Mr. Yancey enjoyed fishing, playing with his great-grandchildren and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Judy Yancey of the home; three sons, Vernon Bramley of Jonesboro, Roy Martin Bramley of Valdosta, Ga., and Tim Yarbro of Manila; one daughter, Karen Bramley of Stuttgart. Mr. Yancey also leaves nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

The family has requested a private service and disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila.
