Alton Lee Kirby, Jr.

Alton Lee Kirby, Jr., 33, of Manila, passed from this life Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. Born in Poplar Bluff, MO., he was the son of the late Alton Kirby and had been a lifelong Manila resident. A 2001 graduate of Manila High School, he was of the Pentecostal Faith.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Herbert Hancock, an uncle Jimmy Rich and a cousin Cody Purser.

Survivors include: his grandmother who raised him, Faye Hancock of Manila; his mother, Charlotte Kirby of Conway; two brothers, Julan Logsdon of Manila and

Joe Logsdon of Kansas; and a sister, Alicia Kirby of Manila.

Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 7, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. Troy Burrow officiating. Burial will be in the Manila Cemetery.

Serving as active pallbearers are Charles Wells, Brandon Dawson, Chase Treadway, Danny Wells, Julan Logsdon and Rick McCullough.

The family received visitors Sunday evening from 6-8 at the funeral home.
