Symantha Kirk Jones

Symantha Kaye Kirk Jones, 33, of Manila, formerly of Leachville, passed from this life Oct. 29, 2016, at the Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. Born in Blytheville she was the daughter of the late W.C. Kirk and had been a longtime Leachville resident before making her home in Manila. She was a 2002 graduate of Buffalo Island Central Schools and was an employee of Colson Castor Mfg. in Monette.

Survivors include her husband, Johnny Jones of Manila; her mother, Wanda Kirk of Leachville; one brother, Tony Kirk of Big Sandy, Texas; two sisters, Jo Ann Garrett of Monette and Diane Newcom of Black Oak.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Reverend Jerry Pentecost officiating. Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Tuesday afternoon from 12:30 until service time at the funeral home.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Jansen Newcom, Kenny Garrett, Chad Jackson, Chris Jones, Jeremy Folkes and Ronnie Fleetwood. Honorary pallbearers will be Joey Kirk and Glenn King.
