The search for a Keiser woman reported missing Aug. 10 continues, but her family is hoping a reward will help authorities locate her. The family of Shannon Hinklin Palmer, 33, is offering a $1,000 reward for information regarding her whereabouts.

Meanwhile, the Mississippi County Sheriff's Department continues to search for Palmer.

Palmer was last seen in Keiser wearing a yellow tank top with a sports bra and pink cutoff Victoria's Secret pants with the word Pink written on them.

Palmer is 5 feet 6 inches in height and weighs 130 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes and has several tattoos. Palmer has the words 'Beautiful Disaster' tattooed on her left forearm, her name 'Shannon' tattooed on her right inside wrist, and a rose tattooed on her left shoulder.

Private citizens and local, county, and state authorities have assisted in the search for Palmer, which thus far has turned up little information. The Sheriff's Department will be continuing the search on the Mississippi River, the direction in which a shoeless Palmer was believed to have been headed. There will also be canine units searching the heavily wooded and overgrown area where Palmer was reported to have been. In addition, the Sheriff's Department will continue to follow up on leads regarding Palmer's whereabouts.

The Palmer family found out Aug. 30 that Mississippi-based Halos Investigations, LLC, will be sending private detectives to the area to assist in the search.

Anyone with information on Palmer is urged to contact the Mississippi County Sheriff's Department at 870-658-7024 or 870-658-2242, Halos Investigations at 662-420-3041 or 501-420-3041, or Clifton Palmer at 870-253-4664.
