Murder suspect Javander Williams, 19, was arrested on Saturday on a failure to appear warrant.

Blytheville Criminal Investigations Division Commander Capt. Scott Adams said detectives learned that Williams had been released from a Tennessee jail where he was being held on drug charges.

"Williams was scheduled for trial last week on the death of Dewaun Miller, however, because he had not made bond was still in custody," Adams said. "The trial was rescheduled and bench warrant was issued. Then on Friday, Williams was able to make his bond and was released. When detectives learned of his release officers located Williams at 212 East Kentucky. Officers spoke with the occupant of the house Kia Stewart who advised Williams was not inside the residence and that he had already ran out the back door."

"Officers surrounded the house and Stewart refused to allow officers to go inside and look for Williams. After approximately 20 minutes Williams exited the house and was arrested per the warrant."
