Javander Williams' murder case has been continued to November, according to the Second Judicial District deputy prosecuting attorney's office.
Williams was to return to court this week to face charges in the May 18, 2015 death of 17-year-old Dewaun Miller.
However, the 19-year-old Williams is currently behind bars in Lake County, Tenn. on drug charges, according to records.
His new court date for the first degree murder charge is Nov. 2, which will be a motions day.
A sophomore at Blytheville High School at the time, Miller was shot to death in the 1000 block of Clark Street.
