The following are reports from the Blytheville Police Department.

Monday, Aug. 1

-- Police arrested Jerome Dotson, 37, on charges of possession of a controlled substance (cocaine and methamphetamine), failure to appear and possessing instruments of a crime, following a traffic stop at Chickasawba and 10th.

-- Police investigated an aggravated domestic assault in the 400 block of Dougan. The offender allegedly shot at the residence, broke windows out of the home, and pushed the victim into the mud.

-- Police arrested Brandon Spells, 25, on charges of loitering, fleeing, obstructing governmental operations and failure to appear in the 300 block of North Sixth.

-- Officers investigated a commercial burglary at Daniels General Contracting in the 1100 block of North Seventh.

-- Police arrested Randy Milon, 41, on charges of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana and cocaine), possession of drug paraphernalia, parole violation and default time pay in the 900 block of Division.

-- Police took a criminal mischief report in the 2100 block of Edwards. A vehicle window was broken.

-- Police took a theft report in the 1000 block of North Sixth. Missing were fishing gear, an air compressor and lawn care equipment.

-- Police took a breaking and entering report in the 300 block of North Broadway. A bicycle was stolen.

-- Police investigated a battery report in the 900 block of South Division. The offender allegedly pointed a gun at one of the victims, then pistol whipped his wife, causing a laceration above her left eyebrow and injury to the back of her head.

-- Officers arrested Patrick Bronner, 51, on charges of battery and possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) in the 100 block of East Sycamore. Police found meth inside his flashlight, the report said.

-- Police arrested Michael Harris, 26, on charges of fleeing, possession of a firearm by certain persons, possession of a controlled substance (8.5 grams of marijuana) and possession of an instrument of a crime in the 2000 block of Hearn.

-- Officers arrested Kenneth Taylor, 34, on failure to appear charges, as police were investigating a missing child report. Around 10:38 p.m., a woman said her 3-year-old child was missing in the 800 block of North Second. She said the door was locked when she went to the bathroom, but when she returned the child was missing and the door was unlocked. The child was located at her stepfather's residence on South 9th, the report said.

-- Police investigated a commercial burglary at Blytheville Compress in the 700 block of North Broadway. Missing were a refrigerator, lawn equipment and an extension cord.

-- Officers took a report of a dog bite in the 900 block of South Division.

-- Police investigated a fraud report.
