Officers of the Blytheville Police Department Nuisance Surveillance and Abatement (NSA) street crime unit arrested six suspects and seized approximately five pounds of suspected Methamphetamine and a handgun Friday, July 15 in the 1600 block of Walnut, according to Blytheville Police Chief Ross Thompson.

Arrested in connection with the bust were 22-year-old Ashley Triste of Oklahoma City, Okla., 28-year-old Dylan Laster of Oklahoma City, Okla., 29-year-old Lisa Herrod of Blytheville, 49-year-old Donnie Darty of Blythevile, 48-year-old Franchester Hardy of Gosnell and 22-year-old Willavonte Westmoreland of Gosnell.

Thompson said police received information pertaining to drug trafficking in Blytheville.

"The information led to the issuance of a search warrant for a residence in the 1600 block of W. Walnut Street in Blytheville," Thompson said. "On Friday, July 15, 2016 Blytheville Police Department NSA officers, along with agents of the Mississippi County DTF unit, executed the search warrant and recovered approximately 5 pounds of suspected Methamphetamine and a handgun. The street value is estimated at approximately $150,000."

All six have been charged with Trafficking of a Controlled Substance Methamphetamine. Bonds have been set but are not available at this time.
