The Blytheville Fire Department battled several fires over the Fourth of July weekend.
Four of those were fireworks-related.
On Sunday, firemen responded to an abandoned structure fire in the 2200 block of West Rose, staying on the scene from 4:50-6 p.m.
Later that same day, firemen returned to the area for another abandoned structure fire, staying on the scene from 11:52 p.m. until 12:30 a.m.
The Blytheville Fire Department is investigating both fires.
Meanwhile, firemen also fought four minor fires caused by fireworks.
Two of the fires were trees and the others were grass fires.
