According to representatives from the Mississippi County Sheriff's Department, a two year old child who was reported missing Saturday afternoon has been found in a swimming pool in the Half Moon area. Major Larry Robinson of the MCSD told the CN that the child was reported missing from a birthday party at 4:46 p.m. Members of the Blytheville Emergency Squad, MCSD, Arkansas State Police, and the BPD K-9 unit responded, and the child was found sometime later in a swimming pool...

According to representatives from the Mississippi County Sheriff's Department, a two year old child who was reported missing Saturday afternoon has been found in a swimming pool in the Half Moon area.

Major Larry Robinson of the MCSD told the CN that the child was reported missing from a birthday party at 4:46 p.m. Members of the Blytheville Emergency Squad, MCSD, Arkansas State Police, and the BPD K-9 unit responded, and the child was found sometime later in a swimming pool.

The child was transported by Pafford EMS to Great River Medical Center in Blytheville, where he was later pronounced dead.
