BAY-The Armorel Tigers maintained their dominance over 1A-3 East foes with an 11-1 win over league rival, Bay, Friday night in six innings.

Starting pitcher, Nash Winters, went the distance allowing just one earned run on three hits while striking out six in six innings of work.

Armorel scored two runs in the first, a run in the second, two more in the third, five in the fourth and one in the sixth to end the game early.

Bay scored their lone run in the bottom of the third.

Connor Walls (2-3, RBI and 3 runs scored), Jared Wyatt (2-4, 2 RBIs and a run scored), Weston Hollingsead (2-4 with an RBI), Brett Harris (1-1, 3 RBIs and 2 runs scored), Andrew Lannon (1-3, triple, RBI and a run scored), Logan Blankenship (1-3 with 2 runs scored), Brock Elliot (1-4 with 2 RBIs) and Nieko Sorrentino (1-3 with a run scored) powered the Pirate offense.

Armorel runs their record to 7-7 on the year and 3-0 in the 1A-3 East.
