The following are reports from the Blytheville Police Department.
-- Through an investigation, police believe Level 3 sex offender Tyler King had nude photos of a 15-year-old female, and allegedly sent her pictures of his genitalia. The report said when he verified his information on Feb. 19, King told police that he did not have an email or social media account. On March 16, a BPD investigator received information that allegedly showed nude photos of the local girl via social media.
-- Police took a criminal mischief report at Tri-State Motors on South Division.
-- A Park Lane resident reported that a neighbor cut down his Japanese Willow tree without asking.
-- Police arrested Carolyn Stevens on shoplifting charges at Walmart.
-- Officers investigated a battery report in the 600 block of North 2nd. The victim said two women assaulted her, while she was sitting in her car with one of them striking her 1-year-old son. Her juvenile son tried to break up the fight from the back seat and was hit in the face, according to the report. One offender tried to drag the victim out of the car and the other offender swung again, reportedly hitting the one-year-old once more. The offenders then fled the scene. Police noted a scrape on the victim's jaw and a scrape on the juvenile's nose.
-- Police investigated a domestic battery report in the 5800 block of North 6th. The victim said his juvenile son attacked him, after he confronted the boy about marijuana in his backpack. The juvenile told police that it was the father who attacked him, unprovoked, and tackled him in the yard, injuring his left knee. The boy also said the father hit him in the face. Police noted swelling and light bruising on the juvenile's left eye and contacted the Arkansas Child Abuse Hotline.
-- Police took a general information report in the 300 block of North Hollywood. The report said someone tried to run over a juvenile boy, as he was walking across the street to his house.
