The following are reports from the Blytheville Police Department.
-- Officers investigated an assault in the 1100 block of Byrum Road.
-- Police investigated a domestic battery report in the 800 block of East Main. The victim said her ex-boyfriend slapped and pushed her, then grabbed her mouth and threw her to the ground.
-- Police investigated a burglary in the 800 block of East Main. Missing were two televisions, $500 in cash, a laptop and handbags.
-- Officers took a criminal mischief report in the 800 block of Clark. The victim and her juvenile daughter told officers that the juvenile offender came to her home with a group of females wanting to fight. The girl said "she has had many problems at the middle school with being bullied, and this time (the juvenile offender) came to the house and broke a window."
-- Officers took a criminal mischief report in the 200 block of South Lake. The victim told police that her daughter damaged the front windshield, hood and passenger side window visor of her vehicle. The report said the offender was upset because the victim owed her $21.
-- Police investigated a terroristic threatening report in the 900 block of McDaniel. The victim told police that two cars pulled up to his residence, and the occupants had sticks, brass knuckles and canes. He said his wife's niece was over at the house earlier and got upset because he wouldn't let her see a boy who lives down the road. The niece told his wife's family that he kicked her, and the two car loads of folks showed up at his house to fight. "The offenders began swinging weapons at him but they were unable to strike him," the report said. An offender threatened to kill the victim.
-- Police took a criminal mischief report in the 1100 block of East Cherry. The victim said someone pulled the electric meter, which was found in a nearby yard. A glass door had minor damage as well.
-- Blytheville City Councilman R.L. Jones reported his trash can stolen in the 2000 block of Chickasawba. Jones said he heard a noise around 2:30 a.m. and, when he went outside to check, he noticed a white female and white male on his property, near his car. He yelled at them and they left the area in a vehicle, the report said. Jones told police that his residence was recently burglarized, and he described several other incidents, including windows being broken at nearby residences.
-- Blytheville police are investigating a child pornography report. The victim's mother told police that nude photos of her 12-year-old daughter were posted on Facebook, possibly by another 12-year-old girl who attends the same school. Police contacted the Arkansas State Police Child Abuse Hotline.
-- Police took an identity theft report. The victim said he received a call from the IRS, which said he owed over $4,000, because an unknown offender has been using his social security number.
-- Police took a criminal mischief report in the 600 block of South Ruddle. A juvenile threw rocks at the victim's car window, breaking it. While investigating, police arrested a juvenile on disorderly conduct charges.
-- Officers took a report of a stolen 1994 Ford Mustang taken from a driveway in the 600 block of North Tennessee.
-- Police assisted on a fire investigation at 115 East Clinton. The fire is still under investigation at this time.
-- Police took a report of a stolen cell phone at Lowe's in the 3700 block of East Main.
-- Officers investigated a shooting in the 100 block of East Roosevelt. The victim told police that she was sitting in a chair in her bedroom when a projectile entered the room through the east wall just above the television. The report said there were multiple rounds that entered the outside walls of the home. "It appeared the only round that entered the residence was through the bedroom," the report said. "The other two rounds were low and appeared to have entered the foundation of the home." The gunshots caused an estimated $500 in damage to the home.
-- Police took a harassment report in the 900 block of South Ruddle. According to the report, the offender put ketchup on the victim's vehicle.
-- Officers took a harassment report in the 1300 block of South 9th Street.
