Pecolia Diggs
Mrs. Pecolia Diggs, 87, of Luxora, died Monday, February 8, 2016 in Blytheville. Born April 26, 1928 in Luxora to the late Christine Amos White and the late Welton Cartwright, she was a homemaker and a lifetime member of the New Salem M.B. Church in Luxora and President of Motherboard.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband James Diggs, her daughter Nancy Diggs, her sister Betty Amos Harris and her brother Northern Seahorn.
Mrs. Diggs leaves three daughters, Minnie (Robert) Irby of Chicago, Ill., Dorris (James) Johnson of Luxora and Barbara (Cedric) Toney of Marietta, Ga.;
Eight sons, James (Evelyn) Diggs of Keller, Texas, Charles (Dorothy) Diggs of Dallas, Texas, Darnell (Mary) Diggs of Bartlett, Tenn., Billy Diggs of Little Rock, Andre (Diane) Diggs of Luxora, Ronnie Diggs of Alabama, Gary Diggs of Little Rock and Michael (Michelle) Diggs of Charlotte, N.C.;
A host of grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren and a host of great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the New Salem M.B. Church in Luxora with Rev. McArthur Hampton, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola. The family will receive visitors from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, February 12, 2016 at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola.
